[Greystoked] Tarzan and the Amazons

Michael and I are joined again by the beaming ray of glittery knowledge that is Melissa Kaercher, as Jane returns to the jungle at the same time Tarzan and Boy encounter a hidden civilization of amazons. And you'd think they could do more with both of these threads, but alas. Check it out here.

[A Random Podcast] Mortal Engines

[BarBROians] Double Trouble

JD and I duck and weave to avoid gunfire which is never actually seen due to low budgets and intentional editing as we look at this attempt by the Barbarian Brothers to shift into the world of adult action movies, which probably would have had some actual grit had it not been made by Jambi the Genie. Check it out here.

[Sleigh Bell Cinema] Mixed Nuts

I was delighted to guest on Michael May's annual celebration of Christmas movies with a favorite of my Mother and I, a wild ensemble farce remade by Nora Ephron from and even wilder French comedy. Love is found, babies are born, trees are decorated, and serial killers are shot in this holiday flop that deserves more of an audience. Check it out here.

We start off with an Italian, Canon Films-produced sword & sorcery flick, showing off both their physiques, their trademark gags, and every single inappropriate thing you'd expect from both a Canon Film and an Italian barbarian flick. At Greystoked, Melissa again joins Michael and I for an odd rarity, Toofani Tarzan (also known by the aromatic title Stormy Tarzan), the first adaptation of the character produced in India which led to a long string of Tarzan films in that country, some official, many not so much. Yet none of them ever adequately explain: what is Dadda? Check it out here.
