[Thundarr Road] Attack of the Amazon Women

Michael, David, and I ride to the salt water shores of South Dakota, where the remains of Mount Rushmore have become home to a deposed ground of blue, amphibious, shark-mounted amazon warriors whose kingdom needs to be reclaimed with the help of Thundarr & Co. Costumes are swapped, tentacles shoot lasers, giant spiders show up in air pockets from out of nowhere, Ariel keeps getting sidelined, and Thundarr and Ookla have each others' backs in the most literal of ways. Check it out here.

[Greystoked] Tarzan's Revenge (1938)

Michael and I are once again joined by David for a look at producer Sol Lesser's second attempt to spring Tarzan off into a new series of adventure films after MGM's license had reached its end, which failed so badly that Sol had to sell his remaining license to none other than MGM! A new Olympian is cast, swimming is synchronized, and many a tracking shot is panned as Tarzan gets some very non-vengeful revenge. Check it out here.

[Schumacast] Car Wash

Some obscure newcomer named JD joins Angie and I as we groove to the disco ensemble comedy hit Car Wash, which was again written by Joel Schumacher. Piss bottles are foiled, musical montages are danced to, days in the life are debated, and Joel still struggles to write realistic romances. Check it out here.

[Greystoked] Toofani Tarzan (1937)

At Greystoked, Melissa again joins Michael and I for an odd rarity, Toofani Tarzan (also known by the aromatic title Stormy Tarzan), the first adaptation of the character produced in India which led to a long string of Tarzan films in that country, some official, many not so much. Yet none of them ever adequately explain: what is Dadda? Check it out here.
