[Greystoked] Tarzan Finds a Son (1939)

Professor Alan joins Michael and I as we bring this decade of Tarzan cinema to a close with a look at the film which introduced Boy and almost killed off Jane. Parental rights are debated, beloved characters are shot and speared in the back, Cheetah and Tarzan share inside jokes, an entire family sprints full tilt across the screen, and the mythos of the Greystoke lineage finally makes an appearance in an MGM film. [Schumacast] The Wiz

K joins Angie and I for a look at the cult 70s musical The Wiz, loosely adapted from the Broadway hit by screenwriter Joel Schumacher, director Sidney Lumet, and producer and future deridable director Rob Cohen. A great cast shines, immaculate costumes and sets are appreciated, subway stations are screamed at in horror, and PACING. IS. (pause for the dance sequence). EVERYTHING. Check it out here.
